Margaritas at Old Sac

Published by sara at 8:35 am under Restaurants and Food

We headed down to Old Sac yesterday for “Gold Rush Days“.  The closest thing I found to gold was the margaritas at La Terazzo.  After watching the gun fights in the street (fake of course) and seeing all those “bad guys” bite the dust we were ready for a tall cool one.  La Terazzo’s is a Mexican restaurant upstairs overlooking the corner between J and K street.  I have to say the service was pretty slow there and no one seemed in much of a hurry so if you are looking for speed better go for the hot dog stand down the block.  But since we weren’t in a hurry and it was nice and cool inside the margaritas were just the ticket.  I don’t know about everything on the menu, but the Carnitas Nachos get my vote,  They had lots of stuff on top and plenty of cheese.  I guess the bonus was the fact that they were a little slow gave us time for an extra margarita and lots of good conversation.

There was one thing unique at La Terrazo they had a chandalier made of beer bottles and that’s just not something you see every day!  Here’s a picture in case you’re looking for something unique for your dining room.

Oh how fun, I need one of those in my kitchen, lunch sounds great, definitely on my list of places to visit while in Sacramento.

I think margaritas are the hot drink labor day weekend. We had margaritas too this weekend, but we’ll have to check out that place.
