Balcony Bistro Has Moose Burgers!

Published by sara under Politics, Restaurants and Food

Last night’s “Great Debate” between Senator Joe Biden and Governor Sarah Palin is what everybody is talking about.  I watched but wasn’t really inspired.  I think all those that liked Obama still feel that way and the McCain supporters are still lined up behind him.  So in my opinion, neither Biden no Palin really changed anybody’s mind, not really that inspiring.

One thing I think really is inspiring is how some people choose to show their support for their candidate.  There are the usual yard signs or bumper stickers, but some people get a lot more creative.  There’s a restaurant in Folsom called Balcony Bistro that has a “Moose Burger” on the menu to show their support for Sarah Palin.  It’s made of real moose meat with all the trimmings and served with an order of sweet potato fries.  I hear it’s getting rave reviews and that’s more than I can say for any of the political candidates.

If you hear of any other creative ways people are showing support for their candidates, (maybe a tattoo or something that really gets under your skin), let me know.  That’s probably the most fun any of us will have out of this election.
