City Of Sacramento At Your Service

Published by sara under Events, Free Stuff, Good Deals

Starting Monday, October 6th, through Wednesday, October 8th, please join the City of Sacramento Department of Neighborhood Services in celebrating Customer Service Week.  Staff will be at a community center near you acting as “car hops” to provide you with a free cup of coffee or lemonade and a bag chock-full of information on the services available to city residents.  Ask questions and get answers all while staying in your car.

Call (916) 808-6789 for more information. Or click on this link to find out places and times for your area of Sacramento

Are You Registered to Vote?

Published by sara under Events, Politics, Sacramento Facts

With all the hype about who to vote for have you forgotten the most important thing, the thing that lets your voice be heard crying out in the wilderness of the election hysteria?  Are you registered to vote?  If you’re not registered you only have until October 20, 2008, or you will be left sitting on the sideline unable to participate in what everyone is calling the most important election in decades.  This is the first election ever that history will be made no matter which party wins; either a black man as president or a woman as vice-president.  Click on this link to The Secretary of State for election and voter information.
