B J’s Restaurant and Brewhouse
My husband was convinced that tonight was pizza and beer night. Not that I’m a teetotaler, and he is right that pizza goes with beer, but this just didn’t fit my idea of an evening out for dinner. After much discussion we agreed to go to B J’s Restaurant and Brewhouse. According to his logic this should satisfy both of us because just look at the name, both a restaurant and a brewhouse. Even though it seemed like a bit of an oxymoron that both could share the same name, I reluctantly agreed to accept his self-serving logic.
My husband enjoyed his pizza and beer, of which there was quite a selection: pizza’s from thin and crispy to deep dish Chicago style, and beers from light to dark. I will have to admit that even though I was a little sceptical at first the restaurant menu was quite nice after all. I had the parmesan encrusted chicken topped with lemon chardonnay butter sauce and served with white cheddar mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. For those who wanted something other than beer, there was wine and a full aray of other spirits including 8 different kinds of martinis. I guess compromise really can happen. I was pleasantly surprised to find that B J’s Restaurant and Brewhouse created a win win situation out of a family dispute. He was lucky this time, but the next time my husband tries to convice me that Weinerschnitzel is really a German restaurant I won’t fall for his tricks.
There are several B J’s in Sacramento just click on this link to find one near you.
Their deep dish pizzas are awesome! after reading your post, I’m totally craving for it..Mmmm will definitely get my friends together for a girls-night-out.
I think your husband owes you big for being so nice!!!
