Election Fatigue Turns Into Election Fever
It seems that “Election Fatigue” was only a symptom and has turned into a full blown epidemic of “Election Fever” sweeping the entire nation starting from the east coast through the time zones all the way to the west coast. There’s not an instant cure, just head to your local polling place, cast your ballot, take two aspirin and call me in the morning. By then we will have the results of your tests (votes) and we can give you a full diagnosis (election results). We will be able to separate the red states from the blue states. We will know if our next president will be McCain or Obama. We will know if Fargo or Johnson will be our next Mayor of Sacramento. We will know if all those passionate sign wavers will get a yes or no on proposition 8 and all the rest of the propositions and we have to decide.
If you voted early sit back, relax and just wait for the results. But if you haven’t cast your ballot yet you may need to refer to the “Voter Information Guide for Election 2008” for all the propositions on the ballot. If you have already decided how to vote you may need to know “How to Find Your Polling Place“. I hope everyone gets out to vote, but I also hope the lines aren’t too long. Sounds like I want two different things, but I guess I’m just a typical American, “I want it all!”. I’m off to the polls.
