Sacramento Real Estate Market Is Looking Up!
I’m sure most of you don’t remember the post from back in September “Real Estate……Is It Really a Bargain?”, but it is close to my heart, because as I told you then I am just a small buyer cog looking to connect with a seller cog in the big wheel of real estate that keeps on turning to power the world. Well, good news, after many months of searching for that just right house with enough closets that I could afford, my search is over. I am the proud owner of a shiny new mortgage in Sacramento that comes with attached house, fenced yard, two kids and a dog; just a little slice of heaven. Well it actually comes with a fenced yard, but you will have to supply the two kids and the dog yourself. I just wanted to give you a full picture of how family friendly Sacramento really is, even though every house doesn’t come with kids and a dog.
I want to say a special “Thank you!” to Jennifer Gereghty, the realtor who stuck it out through months of looking at bank repos with us. This quest for real estate started last spring and went on all through the hot summer months until we finally reached our goal. We looked at hundreds of houses, and bid on over a dozen of them. Every time we found a house that we thought was right for us someone else would bid higher, but Jennifer stayed the course and was confident that we would find that “just right” property. I learned a lot about Sacramento during this real estate search. I found funny street signs, schools, parks, and even special dog parks for your furry friends. I will share all this fun stuff with you later, but I have to start packing now. By the way, does anybody have a couple of strong guy friends with a truck that would work for pizza?
