Starbucks Introducing Instant Coffee Next Week
According to the Sacramento Business Journal, Starbucks Corp. has developed technology to absolutely replicate the taste of Starbucks coffee in an instant form. This answer to instant gratification of our need for coffee of the Starbucks variety could be in stores as early as February 18th. All this instant information came from Vivek Varma, Starbucks Senior Vice-President of Public Affairs. Varma said that Starbucks has been working on this product for 20 years. Evidently making instant coffee isn’t really instant at Starbucks, but I’m sure it will be good to the last drop.

I don’t think it has to do with them perfecting instant coffee. I think it has more to do with the economy and people wanting to spend less on their coffee addiction.
