Sacramento Police Report Armstrong’s Stolen Bike Found
According to Sacramento Police Lance Armstrong’s stolen bike was returned by an anonymous citizen as of 10:30AM Wednesday morning. The bike, identified by serial number, was in good condition and will be returned to Armstrong within 24 to 48 hours. Police did not identify the citizen who returned the bicycle, but did confirm that the “Good Samaritan” who returned the bicycle is not a suspect. Two other bicycles stolen along with Armstrong’s have not been found, but police declined to give further details because of their ongoing investigation. They are actively following leads, and are hopeful for recovery of the bikes.
This is good news for Sacramento. Thanks to the Sacramento Police Department for all their efforts to recover the stolen bikes. And kudos to the “Good Samaritan” who helped them!

I wonder if the good samaritan was the one who took it. Also, thanks for the follow-up. The fact that it was stolen was all over the news, but they usually don’t tell us what something good happens.
