William Jessup University Offers $2000 Grants to Community College Students
Community College students who want to transfer to a four-year college will get a budget boost of $2000 if they choose William Jessup University, the only private four-year university whose campus is in the Greater Sacramento area. The university was founded in 1939 in San Jose and relocated its main campus to Rocklin in 2004. It is situated on 128 acres and is located 20 miles northeast of Sacramento.
William Jessup is offering a $1000 per semester grant to any community college student coming directly to Jessup with 24 or more transferable credits. The grant would be renewed each year that the student is enrolled as a full-time student in good academic standing.
If you are attending community college but are ready to move up to a four year school a good time to check out William Jessup University would be Transfer Day on Friday, April 24 from 10:00AM to 2:45PM. To attend you must RSVP online for Transfer Day at jessup.edu or call Katrice Hernandez in the admissions office at 916-577-2200.
