It’s Creek Week 2009 in Sacramento
If you want to have a fun time while you really make a difference, be a Creek Week volunteer. April 17 – 25, 2009, is Creek Week but the real work is happening Saturday, April 25th.
- The problem: Anything that goes into a storm drain goes directly into a creek or river which is a source of our drinking water. Sometimes trash or invasive plants clog creeks and create local flooding, endanger wildlife, pollute the water endangering both people and wildlife.
- The Solution: Clean it up!
