Although I’ve been told many times to never purchase a vehicle with black exterior because they are dust collectors and hard to keep clean, the attraction still exists. So when I first encountered the 2009 Lincoln MKX the black paint job pushed this luxury crossover sport utility vehicle into the elegant category.
Even with a different color, the MKX is quite an attractive model. The car-based SUV was introduced in 2007 as a replacement for the Lincoln Aviator, which had a truck chassis. Continue Reading »

So what’s wrong with doing a little borrowing? Nothing, if you happen to be the Nissan automotive group, which decided to use some technology from rival Toyota in a licensing agreement when designing the Altima Hybrid.
I’m not exactly sure what benefits Toyota got from the arrangement. But one thing is clear – they produced another rival to go with Honda.
