Terry Rossman MS Golf Experience

 

The Terry Rossman MS Golf Experience will be Friday, May 22, 2009, at the Timber Creek Golf Course, 7050 Del Webb Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747.  There will be a Shotgun Start at 1:00PM.  Registration fee is $150 per player or $50 for non-golfers if you just want to go to the dinner and auction.  For more information and to register for the MS Golf Experience got to msgolfexperience.com. 

This is more than just a golf tournament with 18 holes and a cart, tee prizes (shirts, balls, tees etc.), an awards banquet dinner.  Co-chairs are Mat Rossman and Doug Thomas want this to be an annual event that raises a lot of money for a great cause. Continue Reading »

Congratulations to Matsuyama Elementary School, the winner of the 2009 Phone Book Recycling Contest.  They will be recognized and commended at Sacramento City Council on Tuesday, May 19 at the 6:00 pm meeting by Councilmember Robbie Waters. 

The Phone Book Recycling contest was city-wide with 21 Sacramento Schools in the city participating.   More than 39,000 phone books were collected for recycling by all the schools, helping to divert waste from the landfill.

Matsuyama Elementary students worked hard to collect 5,388, the largest number of phone books  and will be awarded a check from the sponsors of the contest, AT&T Real Yellow Pages, Allied Waste and the Sacramento Recycling and Transfer Station.
