Terry Rossman MS Golf Experience
The Terry Rossman MS Golf Experience will be Friday, May 22, 2009, at the Timber Creek Golf Course, 7050 Del Webb Blvd, Roseville, CA 95747. There will be a Shotgun Start at 1:00PM. Registration fee is $150 per player or $50 for non-golfers if you just want to go to the dinner and auction. This is more than just a golf tournament with 18 holes and a cart, tee prizes (shirts, balls, tees etc.), an awards banquet dinner. Co-chairs are Mat Rossman and Doug Thomas want this to be an annual event that raises a lot of money for a great cause.
Mat’s wife Terry is the inspiration for our event. She passed away in 2007 at the age of 47 in the final stages of MS. Mat and Terry have been involved with the MS Walks since 1991 and have been responsible for the Rocklin/Roseville MS Walk for the last five years.
Doug Thomas can be heard weekday afternoons on Smooth Jazz 94.7 KSSJ and weekends on 96.9 The Eagle. They say MS is not hereditary, but Doug’s father Leonard and brother Ken both have MS. Let’s work together to find a cure for this dreaded disease.
So if you need a good excuse for a great golf experience this is it. Get involved, make a difference, and have a great time too.
