School’s out for summer! When we hear that phrase we all think of vacation and get kind of itchy to get on the road again. But as we all know, there’s a recession, unemployment is up, credit is tight, gas prices are inching up again so the vacation’s off. I know that word “staycation” is annoying to some people because it was used so much last year when the economy started to implode, but I think it may still be the buzz word for this year too. We Sacramentians are very resourceful people and if we can’t afford a vacation then a staycation will have to do. So what is there to do in Sacramento or close by that doesn’t require a lot of travel and doesn’t cost a lot of money.
