David Garibaldi to Perform at 2nd Saturday

Published by sara under Events, Free Stuff, Outdoor Fun

Tomorrow, June 13, 2009, is 2nd Saturday again!  This is always a fun event and you can spend as much or as little as you want to suit your budget.  The galleries are open late and many offer free refreshments while you wander from venue to venue looking at art and socializing with friends.  If you have a few extra coins there is great art to purchase and the nearby restaurants are also open late to help you round out your evening.

There is a special performance I am looking forward to tomorrow, at 7:00PM Stage Nine Entertainment; 102 K Street in Old Sacramento is hosting the performance artist, David Garibaldi.

After developing his craft from graffiti in the streets with a hip-hop background, David Garibaldi, has moved in a new direction.  Now, a few years later, he has performed his show of energetic art on six foot canvas mixed with music and a little motivational speaking and rock star moves for hundreds of thousands of people.  Garibaldi has partnered with the Disney Fine Art program which combines his live performance “Rhythm & Hue” with his more controlled, studio work to give the best of both worlds.

Stage Nine Entertainment will have an area set up in the parking lot, and the show is FREE so come on down to Old Sac and check out the show and stay for all the rest of 2nd Saturday Art Walk.

Review By Jeffrey Weidel

A solid redesign was undertaken two years ago, giving the Ford Focus a fresh look both inside and out. It was a step in the right direction by Ford, which unveiled this compact vehicle in 2000 and understands it has some serious competition from the likes of Honda, Nissan and a few others.
