Sacramento CERT Operation River Safe

The Sacramento Fire Department’s CERT Team will be loaning out life jackets this Saturday and Sunday morning (July 4^th and 5^th, 2009) at Tiscornia Beach at Discovery Park, 195 Jibboom Street, Sacramento, CA.  The Team will be at the beach from 7:00AM to 5:00PM both days.

The Sacramento Fire Department’s CERT (Community Emergency Response Team) is a group of dedicated persons whose primary responsibility is to respond to the needs of the citizens during major emergency incidents such as floods and earth quakes.  They also are involved with different community services activities.
