 July is National Ice Cream Month and it’s not too late to celebrate.  The entire family can enjoy all-you-can-eat Baskin Robbins Ice Cream and Coca-Cola beverages at the 25th Annual Ice Cream Safari at the Sacramento Zoo.  Zoo will be closed early at 1:30 pm to get ready for the Ice Cream Safari. There will also be live music and entertainment, face painting, a GiRaffle - for great prizes, and access to the whole Zoo. Everything to have a fabulous family time at one of Sacramento’s best summer traditions!

Thursday, July 23, 2009, from 8:00AM to 10:30AM is the In the Grow’ Community Farm Stand, promoting affordable, fresh, seasonal, local produce along with monthly food demos.  EBT cards are accepted with sponsorship through the Health Education Council.  Grant Skills Center Head Start, 577 Las Palmas Avenue, Sacramento, CA 95815 (in front of Grant Skills Center off Norwood Ave)
