A Little bit of Heaven in a Frozen Glass with a Spoon and a Straw
Since 1984 Leatherby’s has been serving old fashioned ice cream and lots of it. That’s what their website says and after visiting their fine establishment I definitely understand why. They have all sorts of flavors, everything from plain vanilla to something called playdough. After checking out all the exotic concoctions on the menu, I went for a classic, a chocolate soda made with vanilla ice cream. This is a little bit of heaven in a frozen glass that comes with a spoon and a straw; it’s a little pricy, but well worth all the extra calories. I could tell you how creamy and good it is, but anything I could say would fall short of the actual experience. So check it out for yourself at Leatherby’s, 2333 Arden Way, Sacramento, CA 95825.
