New Library Opening in Pocket-Greenhaven Area

Something new is coming to Sacramento!  The Grand Opening of the library for the Pocket-Greenhaven area is on Saturday, August 28, 2010.  To make it official the ceremony begins at 10 am with the ribbon-cutting at 11 am and cake to celebrate at noon.  It’s sort of like a wedding, even if you aren’t really into the ceremony come for the cake.  Oh yeah, and lots of books for FREE too!

Brown Bag Poetry at the Library is presented by Sacramento Poetry Center at Sacramento Public Library- Central Branch on Thursday, August 19, 2010, from noon to 1:00PM.  It’s FREE, so bring your lunch and save a little money while you enjoy a little rhyming.
