Tonight, August 6, 2010, is the final movie night at Gibson Ranch at 8556 Gibson Ranch Road, Elverta, CA 95626. The movie tonight is Flicka 2 and will be shown on a giant inflatable screen provided by Sierra Outdoor Cinema. There is a $6 per car entry fee so “pack up the babies and grab the old ladies” and head out to Gibson Ranch for a real bargain and a night of family fun.

Last night (October 6, 2009) marked the exact day that Sacramento’s Crest Theatre 1013 K Street, Sacramento, CA 95814, opened its doors for the first time sixty years ago. I feel honored that I was there to witness the event and see the Crest in all her glory.
