Saturday, November 7, 2009, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM is the Capitol Park Tree Tour; meet on the east steps of the Capitol.  Grab your walking shoes and be prepared to learn more about the magnificent urban forest that defines Sacramento as the “City of Trees.” Each tour is led by a knowledgeable staff person or volunteer who will share information on species of trees, history of the area, and answer any questions you may have.

 

This fun activity is FREE, so bring the kids, walk the dog, or just enjoy some beautiful time outside under our amazing tree canopy
